Agreed. If they want to extend the season, they should give every team another week off staggered throughout the season. That way the TV audience will have access to more games and the players get another week of recovery during the season.

It's hard enough for these guys to make it to the end of a long season being reasonably healthy. Imagine the additional injuries if they have one more game when everyone's already fighting muscle fatigue and small injuries. - Drano
