Clearly, The earth is much older than 1885. Does anybody read and pay attention to detail anymore? Seriously!
Has anyone ever stopped to research who actually began funding this research? Its traces back to the 1950's from some very powerful well known families. Hint: One was actually a good one with good intentions....Carnegie....the other was not so good...(Rock...)....I dont see members of Carnegie a part of government in any shape, form, or manner anymore....do you?
