I remember back in the day
1968 at Ely Lilly science labs
when a traveling science display
about the early laser principles were
being shown to everyone.
It was a box with a laser hologram
inside and wide peep holes to look
through at what was being created.
The hologram was that of a mid game
chess board.
You could move your eye to the edge of the peep
hole and look around at the side of a chess piece.
Amazing !!
The point: the science director was almost
in tears at his missing all the new wonders to
come him being already 70 years old.
