From January 20, 1981 - January 20, 1989, the S&P 500 advanced 117.72% (REAGAN).
From January 20, 2009 - yesterday, the S&P 500 advanced 133..48% (Obama).
Therefore, the article is complete fiction and was written by someone who either blatantly lied, or is incapable of doing basic research; neither of which is a good quality to have.
From Jan. 20 1989 - Jan. 20, 1993, the S&P 500 advanced 51.19% while Bush Sr. was in office. Clearly the reporter is an idiot.
