Iron Dragon TV ActionFest is an international film festival devoted to the multiple facets of action cinema. A festival that honors the men & women who bring the audience to the edge of their seats with incredible action sequences. IDTVAF understands that it is not only the stars in front of the camera, but the crew behind the scenes that create this magical world, & dedicates the festival to them.

Rules & Terms

We are Accepting submissions for feature Narrative and Documentary, short Narrative and Documentary. Shorts will play prior to a feature or in a shorts program. All genres are welcome. The festival programming staff will place your film in the appropriate category.

All entries will be judged on content, creativity, imagery, story and skill of the filmmaker. Productions produced from 2010 to March 2017 may be submitted. Works in progress will be accepted. All films must be submitted on DVD or Blu-Ray (Region 1) for consideration by the Selection Committee. PAL system is NOT accepted.

Each entry must be submitted separately. All entries must be sent to the IronDragon Action Fest prepaid and, for your own protection, should be insured. Videos, DVDs , Blue- Rays submitted will not be returned unless accompanied by SASE. Films selected for the IDTVAction Fest will be announced no later than March 15, 2017.

All presentation /screening materials for the IDTV Action Fest must arrive in Texas no later than May, 2017. ALL ACCEPTED SUBMISSIONS must provide 2 Screening DVDs (NTSC Region 1), Blu-Rays or DCP for exhibition. PAL Formatted discs will not be accepted. We will NOT accept online screeners for exhibition purposes.

All filmmakers who provide SASE or Postcards will receive notification of inclusion into the festival within 30 days of the festival preview. All accepted filmmakers, who have submitted/mailed in all necessary materials and Screeners, will be placed on the IDTV Action Fest Website before the event.

IDTV Action Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize footage and promotional materials supplied by the submitting agent from any film submitted and accepted film, video, or project for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. All accepted filmmakers agree that the IDTV Action Film Festival may use footage from their projects in order to promote the festival, their film or the IDTV Event via print, web and broadcast television. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Action On Film International Film Festival, its vendors, sponsors and supporters from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
