I can relate... I had been out of the Arm

I had been out of the Army about 2 months. There was a situation on post that the people in charge did not know how to deal with. I was meet by CID at a local library and taken as a civilian back to the base to deal with the issue. I was only a E5 in the military...that is scary. Luckily it wasn't a national defense issue. Now in the civil side I have found it isn't popular to be a free thinker and or leader. I was black balled by my former employer after 21 years and basically put in a glass bottle labeled " only break in case of a National Emergency". These people what managers to push and implement their agenda. They don't want free thinking leaders that question there policies or methods or agenda's. It isn't kick ass, take names and ask question later anymore. If it isn't in their book and you aren't willing to enforce it...you are a rouge force to be dealt with...Be it me to be able to think and act on my feet under stress?
