I wondered if a non-native English speaker wrote that article and had "optimist" and "pessimist" confused. Because there sure is nothing for an optimist to fear if someone known to be hostile to management has filed the form that says "I'm a passive investor and plan to hold, without trying to be an activist investor/hostile take-over." Or maybe that website is always bearish and just plugged in their usual language without really paying attention to what the news actually was.
