FLASH NEWS REPORT
Because it has been so "suspiciously quiet" lately ,we called Leo and asked what is happening so far.His reply was odd.He said MMM MMM MMM MM MMMM MMM M and then hung up.
We then went to the CTIX offices and Leo was not there but Dr.Menon was.We went to his office and the door was closed with a sign on it saying "Leo won't let me talk to anyone right now , come back later"
Being increasingly curious , we went to Dana Farber and in the parking garage,a blind staff member with a service dog was walking past us with duct tape over her mouth as well as the dog's mouth.Strange.When we entered the hospital,,,everybody had duct tape over their mouths!!!
(at least the tape was "hospital style" with colorful ducks and butterflies on it)
On the way to Dr.Shapiro's office we heard the switchboard operator saying "Thank you for calling Dana Farber,we can't talk right now so please call back later".
Approaching Dr.Shapiro's office , a man , back to,was leaning with his ear against a glass pressed to Dr.Shapiro's door.we walked past and turned around and to our surprise it was Leo and he had duct tape over his mouth too.(Explains the muffled call earlier). We asked him what he was doing and he got a pen and paper and wrote "Trying to cure my hiccups, what does it look like I'm doing?"
Wow!! we said, these trials are really under lock and key aren't they! Leo wrote "Yes and it's driving me crazy.Check out the cafeteria".So we did.The only food available was peanut butter sandwiches. We asked the cook why and he wrote (yes he was taped too) "It's hard to talk with a mouth full of peanut butter."
When they are done with the new wing for Andrew and the Grubinator,we are told, they will be probably taped also but most likely for different reasons.
MM's are complaining that they don't know when they should flash the 911 signal because of all this.
So there you have it.No one is talking. We'll keep monitoring this and keep everyone updated.
NEWS AS IT NEVER HAPPENED (or did it?)
