i think they got plenty from the PLN suit. it was painted as that lawsuit was going to sink the company, that the company's failure was blamed on the packager instead of the brand being viable, etc. etc. why did PLN switch attorneys several times (3 ?) in such a short amount of time? the normal counter is that HJOE wasnt able to prove damages. however, that was only on certain counts (conveniently left out). there were plenty of damages shown with respect to product not being able to be shipped, refused, etc and subsequent cash flow disruption sending the company down the toxic lending route. further, the company raised certain issues with the manufacturing claims of PLN that were not refuted and further backed up by the undercover reporting by the Dr. Oz show. PLN tried to silence Oz and they immediately shot back both in the court and in the public arena showing all of their documentation and claims were above board. i havent been able to find any updates on those proceedings. i still think the timing of the Oz revelations, the multiple attorneys, and the quick dismissal is not a coincidence.
