I do not think that you are on the right path implying that the loudest of the 2 boards are in it together on a pump and dump.
At least that is the impression I got from your message. This board has always gone in cycles of volume when it comes to chatter, I would not worry about that too much, PPS movements were the same before this board ever became public knowledge and different faces arrived.
