Ziehm Imaging and OrthoScan Present State-of-the-Art Mobile C-Arm Range at Arab Health 2016

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES and NUREMBERG, GERMANY--(Marketwired - Jan 25, 2016) - At this year's Arab Health, Ziehm Imaging and its sister company OrthoScan, the leader in mini C-arm imaging, will showcase a complete range of state-of-the-art mobile imaging solutions addressing the different requirements of clinics. The highlight on display is Ziehm Vision RFD 3D, the world's only 3D C-arm with flat-panel technology that provides a 16 cm edge length per scan volume. In addition, Ziehm Imaging presents Ziehm Solo, the first choice for small operating rooms. Visitors will also be able to experience OrthoScan FD Pulse, the first and only mini C-arm with pulsed fluoroscopy.

Redefined Imaging Ziehm Vision RFD 3D, the new Ziehm Imaging flagship product, combines 2D and 3D functionality to offer full intraoperative control in high-end applications in orthopedics, traumatology and spine surgery, but also for demanding cardio-vascular hybrid applications.

With its 30 cm by 30 cm flat-panel and up to 7 cervical vertebrae in one scan volume, this mobile C-arm offers the largest 3D image volume on the market. Besides, it is the only 3D C-arm that combines a 25 kW generator with an iterative reconstruction algorithm and patented SmartScan rotation to offer 180° image information of any anatomical structure.

In addition, Ziehm Imaging showcases Ziehm Solo. The versatile mobile C-arm delivers optimal performance for applications in pain management, orthopedics and lithotripsy. Versatile viewing options enable physicians to configure the unit according to individual requirements. Its compact design makes Ziehm Solo the first choice for small operating rooms.

Imaging excellence in mini C-arms Ziehm Imaging's sister company OrthoScan specializes in mini C-arms and is known for its great value in orthopedic surgical procedures for extremities. At Arab Health, OrthoScan presents FD Pulse, the first mini C-arm with pulsed fluoroscopy. FD Pulse provides dose reduction with state-of-the-art image quality. The compact and square-shaped CMOS flat detector provides the greatest field of view, enabling the user to see more anatomy. This flat detector design and compact form factor allow for optimal positioning in the OR.
