I agree with most of what you say, but uplisting is not the magic panacea for pumper/dumper operations that are supported by hedge funds and, some people think, article-posting and chat websites (not THIS one -- this is the rare honest one that doesn't let its employees trade stocks).
One need only look at AVXL to see how powerful pumper-dumpers can be even after uplist. And, one need only look at AXON, a multi-billion dollar market cap company with one previously-failed drug heading again for human trials, to see how corrupt the stocks traded on exchanges can be.
AXON has 11 times the market cap of CTIX.
CTIX: 4 clinical trials with novel drugs in 4 different areas of need;
AXON: one drug, very similar to other failed drugs, starting clinical trials again after failing clinical trials with the major pharma that originally developed it.
CTIX market cap: 150.50 million
AXON: market cap: 1.77 Billion
