Here you have it, during the middle of the Presidential Primaries, and it has come to light that there is a serious attack against the idea of the American Dream. They don't call it the British Dream for a reason, it's ours, it IS us. It's what makes me and you so fortunate to be from here, and what makes other strive to join us. Without it, the constitution and Bill of Rights are just pieces of paper-- worth less than the ink that was used in their writing.
So, you have it that a young Russian man comes to America in search of HIS American Dream. For years he toils, he crafts an idea, he works that idea with great commitment until he's no longer such a young man. Never-the-less, he's close to achieving that Dream. Very close. This man is an example of what others, too, can accomplish if they only come to America with a plan and work that plan. An amazing story is being written...
However, thanks to a nefarious group of low-class lemmings, this man's Dream is stalled. Those against him even go so far as to infiltrate or otherwise coerce the cooperation of one of America's most important associations and governmental entities.
How deep do the roots run? Most don't know for sure, only those who have come to the aid of this man to help him achieve his dream and fight against this group of malicious malefactors . Yet, in the midst of the struggle, this man meets an untimely end. Never to see his dream realized.
What is the incentive for those to chase that Dream again, if the wrongs that were committed against this man are not righted? What reason does one have to come here, to try, to seek, if one can do it the right way, successfully, only to be uprooted before success is realized by the dubious actions of a corrupt network of villains?
This is far more than an attack on Baltia and its shareholders. Not to be Johnny-Constitution here, but this is a blatant attack on what one might term the American Dream. Our friends watching this board silently know this, as we all know. It goes beyond the idea of fair versus unfair, it's far bigger than that.
Baltia and Igor will be redeemed, of this I have little doubt, because the alternative means that the American Dream is dead. If the American Dream is dead, then so is the concept of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
Baltia embodies much more than an airline, and thanks to a small and dedicated group of eventual heroes, redemption is nearer than it has ever been for each Baltia, its shareholders and Igor- a man who had a dream.
