You need to have 2 out of a list of 35 crimes (27 federal-level, 8 state-level) in order to consider it a RICO.
Right off the bat they have securities fraud (stock manipulation) and fraud (the transactions revolving the conflicts of interest between the both of them).
If Sarah actually was fired for theft (obviously a crime), especially from a company she assisted in manipulating one's stock, that's even worse.
$25,000 fine and potentially 20 years in prison if they both are charged in a RICO case.
If any other people are directly linked to them in any which way, you can toss conspiracy in there and throw in whomever else is involved on all their charges. That means if this is bigger than the two of them, surely those parties are subject to the same charges.

They are screwed. They should lawyer up.
