Los Angeles , Jan. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water announced today that 2015 marked the company’s most successful year to date. After reporting a 230 percent compound annual growth rate, the company, which has been lauded for its innovative triple bottom line platform of healthy, sustainable, and ethical initiatives and attributes, will start the New Year with a new investment round.

In a recent feature in Forbes , Emmons disclosed the bottled alkaline water brand’s explosive growth since its inception three years ago, which has since been revised to over 4,800 percent, making Waiakea one of the fastest growing beverages in the country. Their direct-to-consumer online sales in 2015 alone grew almost 500 percent due to a strong focus on digital marketing and content.
In addition to exhibiting their fourth consecutive calendar year of triple digit growth, it was also recently announced that the naturally alkaline, carbon neutral Hawaiian volcanic water was among the most awarded bottled water brands in North America in 2015, some of which included the National Restaurant Association’s Food and Beverage Innovation Award (FABI) and the Best in Biz gold medal as The Most Socially Responsible Company in North America.
