Yesterday when I was watching the Big Short I just kept comparing us to the small band of investors that looked at the mortgage market and saw complete destruction. Especially the first character of that group introduced in the movie, Dr Burry.
These guys knew what they saw, they studied real mortgage markets like the crash in waiting in South FL, they studied the brand new CDO's, and they understood. They understood the fraud in the mortgage markets, and they saw really intelligent people moving like sheep to slaughter. And they stood accross the traffic and yelled STOP. All to no avail.
Dr Burry is especially interesting because he did it all by himself. everyone else had a partner (s).
I think that is why we have all gathered here. Its tough to do this alone, and no one has all of the right experience to get it right. GO NTEK
