I will give my best guess on how & why I think NTEK will be involved with the future living room from "MY PERSPECTIVE ONLY OF COURSE".
SONY IS ALL IN ON 4K & ANYONE DOING ANYTHING WITH 4K "LIVE EVENTS" IS HUGE GOING FORWARD HERE.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the Neulion/Sony agreement, is Neulion uploading LIVE content to a cloud? or is it more of an old-tech wired delivery? "The NeuLion solution for consumer electronics allows OEM customers to quickly deploy devices that can support 4K video streaming, including live OTT video services powered by the NeuLion Digital Platform. NeuLion delivers an end-to-end platform providing licensed software components as well as services that include content ingestion, encoding and management to content security, monetization, monitoring and analytics that streamline the content delivery process'.
Please discuss the importance of uplink.to again. Remember our Newest announcement partnering with Akyumen " seamless communications applications that automate the process of sharing and transferring images and videos over the internet. The Flagship products PhotoUpLink and VideoUpLink use proprietary technology to completely automate the process of transferring content from your mobile device to a variety of destinations including web pages, social media sites, and photo catalog sites. (Think Facebook,Google,Microsoft, ect...living room and other WIFI Devices in everyday use....sharing not only in the home but friends and relatives a across town and states... and different countries... huge interaction...
I also understand that NTEK has a way of protecting content that has been entrusted to NTEK. Not that we can stop all criminality, just that we can place a watermark over the stolen view, and that watermark leads us directly to the criminal jump off point. "yes and keeping down piracy even 10-20% is Millions if not billions a dollars year for studios...
I would really appreciate again a discussion from the techies comparing content safety. I understand that Netflix just had an entirely new season of programming stolen before Netflix had an opportunity to present any single portion of their story for profit. I will leave this one alone
I also understand that NTEK streaming is visually lossless down into the 4-8mps range, and that board members here say it is beautiful. THIS TO ME IS OUR BIGGEST ADVANTAGE, FOR I WORK NOW IN THE VIDEO/VOD WORLD FOR A JOB, and Bandwidth is the key and it will continue to be!!!! because right now consumers pay for data packages per month, and video will start to drive usage through the roof, but they still what the best quality!! On top of all of that, we seem to be farther up some or all of these learning curves than anyone else. Is that a fair statement? I would say that is "not" true, Sony is further along and Japanese Networks, but we have a secret Sauce (and maybe you could say D Foley was able to understand and break it down, get it to where the industry was going and capitalize on this, hmmm maybe there is an argument there..
I think Management will get this company to a point and we will bought out, because of technology that NTEK Possesses and it is compatible across the board (which is Key, to Global delivery)!
