The SEC is an enforcement agency, not a guardian angel which fell down on the job--they did all investors a favor when PTOI was at around $1.50 by doing an investigation and showing investors that PTOI's largest asset was worthless. It gave investors a chance to clue in and see that insiders weren't averse to defrauding investors to trick them into investing money.
I have no intention of investing in PTOI. Certainly if I'm wrong and PTOI does a proof-of-concept showing that the process has some sort of value in some capacity somewhere, I might invest...but I'm certain that's not in the cards. If a proof-of-concept showing value of PTOI's process/catalyst was possible, in seven years someone at PTOI would have told investors what exactly goes into the processor (quantity, type, cost, etc...) and what exactly comes out (quantity, price achieved, etc...). To quote a cliche, the silence is deafening.
