I'm with you on not having the time to do a full scrub of all the movies yet to be downloaded. Possibly Winston has done it so as to make it easier for him to extract the information and provide the details to the board. Bravo to him and my appreciation to him for providing this informaition,
I too don't have a clue to the modus operandi of NTEK on uploading films. Like you I believe an unpopular film 15years ago is not going to be popular today. There have been a few films over Hollywood's history that when released were considered flops but over time they became classics. "Its a Wonderful Life" is one that pops into my head. Others do exist.
I think that NTEK has a plan. Integrating all the remastering rights they have now and the future rights with new contracts.
In the shareholder letter last year, Foley mentioned 250 more films would be uploaded before the end of 2015. Well, that didn't happen, and we have only seen 12 films uploaded this year. My belief is that of the 250 films mentioned the bulk resides with a new contract and have already been remastered. Not by us but by them. And the only company that I know of that has remastered a large quantity is Sony. And Sony did mentioned during the 2016 CES that they are launching their own channel called "Ultra". My belief again is that Sony will broadcast their remastered films over Ultraflix and their channel. Will be happy if they do. Will wait and see. The only reason it hasn't happened is the terms of the contract, etc., which is I believe is the reason for the delay.

Enyaw-
Thanks for the comments and feedback. I've run through some models using Winston's current figures and plotted a trend line based on the 5 months of data. We have ~600 movies remaining, and my figures show a box office impact of ~$37M/movie remaining assuming it takes 6 months to complete the library. This equals ~$22B left to be uploaded, so ntek would be at 65%. Of course the true calculation would be to gather the box office data for all of the movies, but I don't have the time to do that right now.
I still think that there is a high correlation factor between box office revenues and revenues generated from ntek users. If a movie wasn't popular 15 years ago, it isn't going to be today on 4k, unless it has a cult following (of which there are few).
I'm just trying to find reasons as to why movies may not be loaded at the increasing rate we were expecting. Only ntek knows at this point.
