Enhanced security The HP RP9 Retail System is the first retail point-of-sale (POS) product shipping with key integrated peripherals that are enabled with Intel's Data Protection Technology for Transactions (DPT for Transactions) 1 . The innovative technology creates a secure transaction path that routes data directly from the point of entry to a bank's servers, encrypting the sensitive information throughout the process. The HP RP9 with Intel® DPT for Transactions 2 isolates and protects credit/debit information and personal data from the moment a transaction is initiated to ensure customer security throughout the lifecycle of the transaction.
