Indirect Pledging Customers are customers which have entered into the Nasdaq Customer Agreement A .
A new member portal will be introduced where all clearing members will be expected to administer IDP customers/accounts. The member portal provides functionality such as;
· Register/request new IDP customers/accounts
· Make/request changes and terminations of IDP customers/accounts
· View all current IDP customers/accounts
· List exporting functionality (TBA)
All clearing members with IDP customers need to apply for user access to the member portal. Please use the “Member Portal Customer Account User Access Form” available here to request access for the persons that will administer the customer/account details.
It will also be required that signatory evidence documentation confirming the customer agreement signatory as an authorized signatory is submitted together with new customer agreements. This is applicable for customer agreements for;
- Juridical persons
- Physical persons that are signed by someone else than the account holder.
The signatory evidence documentation can be a Certificate of Incorporation, Power of Attorney, List of Authorized Signatories or other document used by the clearing member to confirm that the customer agreement is signed by a person authorized by the account holder to sign on its behalf.
