From CES ....after viewing all the qd tvs I was most impressed with Samsungs displays...LG had their OLED up front and promptly displayed showing them in a darkened area where OLED stands out.Ask yourself how many times you sat in a pitch black room to watch your tv..The words QUANTUM DOT DIAPLAY was boldly up front and center at the Samsung show area while LG didn't have that wording anywhere. For the cost my money was on the Samung display which was very thin and was as good as the OLED displays I saw ....even viewing at an angle the qdtv had a good viewing picture. ..Was pleasantly surprised to meet some of the management here at the show and felt the energy of excitement from them about their position in this growing market.Discussed the PR that came out on Nathan Stott and was good to hear they are highly impressed with him so far and that his background in developing films and lighting is best of the best. They were very tight lipped about their "partners" but displayed smiles when stating that things are going very well.I expected Steve to look a bit beat down from his hectic schedule but he looked great and had a positive air about him and the future for QMC.He said he was fully booked for his time here and probably wouldn't even get to any of the show floors to see the products dis played.I believe he is already well aware of what's out there and he is speaking to many OEMS either involved in qd display or moving to it...will follow up on Friday when I get home...Very very positive so far and it's easy to say qd displays are here to stay and not a fad
