Taipei, Taiwan, Jan. 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (NasdaqGS: SIMO)(“Silicon Motion” or the “Company”), a global leader in designing and marketing NAND flash controllers for solid state storage devices and specialty RF IC solutions for mobile devices, announces that based upon its preliminary fourth quarter financial results, sequential revenue growth is expected to be within the upper half of its original guidance range of 0% to 3% that the company issued on October 29, 2015. Gross margin (non-GAAP) is expected to be at the lower end of the company's original guidance range of 50 to 52%.
The Company will release its full fourth quarter 2015 results after the market closes on January 28, 2016. The Company will host a conference call on January 29, at 8 am Eastern Time, to discuss its results.
