The only way to accumulate a position in the 5M>20M range is to hit the ask. What tends to happen when there is < 10M on the ask is that one person takes a big chunk leaving next to nothing and we get an uptick. For much of each year there is a 2 to 4 tick spread with less than 1M on the ask at any particular level. Whenever there is any new interest, a few flippers chase as it heads for the .0010 breakout. Eventually, a relatively large bid forms (>10M) and one of the flippers whacks it. Over successive weeks, flippers who chased sell for a loss and we get a retracement.
The smart move is to load in the year bottom > .0010 range and then have enough to sell a small amount in the .0011>.0020 range whilst retaining the majority for a run to above .01 when good financials are eventually delivered after brick and mortar retailer deals are secured and in operation.
All the above is just my opinion and the strategy I'm following.
