ADD and ADHD are points on a spectrum of brain activity. It is the speed of the brain and electrical current that messes with your mind. I believe epilepsy is related but with much more brain activity leading to an overload and seizures. Marijuana calms the mind which is why there are positive results for both epileptic and ADD/ADHD children/adults.
But a different point on the spectrum isn't necessarily a disability because it heightens other skills/abilities. However our society is built using the bell shaped curve and anyone not in tune with the general masses will struggle more.
Example: school is designed for those who don't have ADD. So ADD kids struggle with the learning style. But you could change the teachings and ADD kids would kick ass on the rest. Everything is designed for the masses.
Which is why the snowflake design was created. You probably didn't think I would find a way to tie this to RMHB but I did!
