Lionsgate is an industry leader in the marketing and distribution of packaged media and digital entertainment. Lionsgate’s library features all Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment theatrical films, including THE HUNGER GAMES and THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2; Lionsgate television shows such as MAD MEN and WEEDS; and home entertainment releases for Miramax, Studio Canal, HIT Entertainment, and more. Our library contains over 15,000 titles, with such audience favorites as DIRTY DANCING, RESERVOIR DOGS, TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY, and the TWILIGHT and SAW franchises.
Lionsgate recently announced new distribution partnerships with A&E Networks, and now handles packaged media distribution for A&E, The History Channel, and Lifetime. Lionsgate also recently acquired CodeBlack Films, whose mission is to serve the urban market through the development of feature films, internal productions and strategic acquisitions.
Lionsgate’s home entertainment business finished the 2012 calendar year with a 9.5% market share, putting us among the top five studios.
