Things are moving right along now at Buffalo Ranch

The Stem Wall for the Greenhouse is still covered with the insulated blankets while it cures. If you download the picture and zoom in right over the top of the stem wall you can see that the footings for the headhouse are in. I don't know when they will pour them because the weather forecast through next Wednesday (at least) is not conducive to construction.
The screed rock that is to be placed underneath the headhouse slab has been delivered and it looks like almost all of the fence posts (a couple hundred) are cemented in along with all of the corner/gate posts. They are fencing in 5 acres with 6ft security fencing as mandated by the State MED Board
there was also a couple that had pulled up their truck over by the Electric Transformer and were out standing around the well cap. Apparently they will be the people setting the pump and building the well house. The man said that he was the foreman on the 8 man drilling crew that drilled to the Dakota Aquafir (1950 ft) back in October. He confirmed what I was told when they first hit the water, the well would easily pump 30 to 40 gallons a minute but the state only allows a 15 gallon a minute pump.
I keep asking about tenants/growers and I get hit with nothing but a smile. I think or ASSume that they already have that covered. Time will tell!!
