About 3 years ago around this time I was riding the Long Island Rail Rode home on my daily commute. Overheard a few meat heads in suits who worked for a securities chop shop (ok, all assumptions but these weren't Goldman or Merrill guys lol) anyway, being in the industry for so long (and working for one of the reputable broker dealers) I found comedy in their conversations about their take on options, futures and transactional trading of equity. They started talking about firms I have never heard of so being curious I started to write them down. I couldn't tell tell you any of those stocks now because the next getting in the office I combed through them all and laughed....except, you guessed it, Baltia. I was intrigued by it being a start up airline and local to NY. So I put it on my ticker list and watched it for a while. Finally, this September picked up a few million and a few million more. Haven't been around as long as most of you but still have my 5 digit losses even buying in Sept. I hopeful to see that change for all of you between the next few days and months to come.
