Ison We know now the Black Friday Specials were a
Post# of 96879
HUGE SUCCESS for NTEK by the simple fact they
would NEVER have done these Holiday Specials
now if they weren't.
To your other points. NTEK has done the market
research KNOWING The vast majority who buy the
99 special will not only consume those 99 movies
much faster than they otherwise would without the
special, but the ADDED BONUS is UF KNOWS that
the Vast Majority of them will also become LONG TERM
users of UF and help spread the word to others what
a great product is. Its called BUILDING BRAND LOYALTY.
Yes NTEK sacrifices some short term profit margins on
these 99 specials but what they gain FAR FAR outweighs
for the LONG RUN SUCCESS of UF.
To your last point after someone buys a special
EVERY TITLE on UF that person selects from that
point on counts toward using the special. You know
this because when you select a title its says "FREE"
now instead of charging a fee. So it doesn't matter
if your selecting a $9.99 movie or a $1.99 documentary
each title you selects counts as one of your 99.
Everyone will know when their special has ended because
the "FREE" banner will go away when its over and you've
used all 99.
