PART 6 The SUPER X PACKAGE DELIVERY DRONE Lets wrap this
PART 6 The SUPER X PACKAGE DELIVERY DRONE Lets wrap this up.
The SUPER X PACKAGE DELIVERY DRONE has only one job. Deliver your package / Packages and return the X frame and pick up the next freshly charged and loaded X frame and for it's next run. 1 to 9 loaded packages.
This is a strong drone. It has to be as automated as possible. This design is based on a 4 blade drone and the PAN HANDLERS sits between the 4 slots between the blades, and extends past the blades and prop wash.
You can go with a 8 package design and add a PUSHER DRIVER blade to the belly.
Or carry a pay load of up to 12 packages by also using the tips of the holding pans. WOW!
Anyway there are presets for weights VS Drone power. I figure a 4 to 5 foot drone unloaded, And when the X frame is picked up add up to 2 extra feet.
When the drone comes and links to a loaded X frame. The X frame feeds / up loads the package delivery information to the drone. When it has a flight solution the lights turns from red to green. You can watch as it adjust the pan handler arms rotating them for 1st to 2nd drop and so on. If everything checks BILLY JO makes one more check and presses the launch button!
Off goes the drone with the loaded X Frame.
When the drone connects the x frame it gets extra power as needed. It also goes to the first drop ADDRESS. It starts looking for the PING of the LZ STICK or PAD.
If its a pad it can do a soft drop of about 2 feet providing it views a all clear view. NO PEOPLE within 10 ft. If it's a LZ STICK it's a hard drop 10 to 15 feet. It can drop 1 to 4 rotate panhandlers and drop 4 more. And self adjust itself for shifting weight as it makes the drops.
So far we have a travel range of 6 miles I expect this to grow.
But the point is how many building surround a 6 mile area in New York. That leads us to the next point. A permanent LANDING ZONE mounted on top of office buildings and Apartment buildings.
It is a gated area for drone deliveries. It may be rented space BY DSUS our late night office workers needing a fast meal would go to the gated area slip their drone card or smart phone scanner. And they are coded for a soft drop inside that area. After the drone does it job the gate opens and you get your delivery..
Late night and want the newest movie with dinner. place the order. Go to the safe roof area of the apartment building. Activate the LZ ZONE and you have Movie and a dinner. DSUS gets a fee each time this LZ zone gets used. And The office or apartment building gets a fee for hosting a drone ready building.
I did dream up a military version with a payload of 36 separate loads that can drop all at once or one at a time. It's a BATTLE FIELD MONSTER.
Well there you go you can fill in the blanks. But this is the worlds first MULTI SUPER X DELIVERY PACKAGE DRONE
