Sorry for those reading both boards for the redundancy but I did want to throw out one possible explanation of the Kevetrin trial extension.
From my post over there on February 27 of this year.

There is the the possibility that DF is testing Kevetrin with their new diagnostic tool.
To me one of the very exciting aspects is that they can test combination therapies to ferret out the best combo drugs.
