OAKS, PA--(Marketwired - Dec 16, 2015) - SEI (
"We are delighted with the outcome of this year's Leadership Summit," said Erin Garrett, President of the SEI Women's Network. "Seeing more than 200 individuals from SEI and the surrounding community come together to discuss, brainstorm and learn from one another is incredibly empowering. We hope that each attendee walked away from the event feeling educated and more connected with the internal and external SEI network."
The event kicked off with a whirlwind of three presentations in one hour to discuss motivation, entrepreneurship and leadership, led by Cathy Stemmler, President and CEO, InDevelopment, LLC, Cassandra Bailey, President and CEO, Slice Communications, and Al Chiaradonna, Senior Vice President, SEI Wealth Platform(SM), North America Private Banking, respectively.
Established industry professionals, many of whom were SEI employees and women from the surrounding Philadelphia business community, led discussions on a range of topics, including, "How to be an Entrepreneur Anywhere," "Managing the Chaos," "Why Mentoring Matters," and "Managing Gender in the Workplace." In addition, keynote speaker, Lu Ann Cahn, Author of "I Dare Me," concluded the day's event by sharing insights and advice on breaking out of one's comfort zone and taking risks.
