$TPAC I have copied and pasted another awesome post from the other board. I am not providing a link and instead am copying and pasting the content due to the manipulation of mods over there, all of whom are deleting posts they deem unfavorable to the position of naysayers looking to steal shares from scared rookies. Before I paste the post, I encourage anyone posting unbiased information over there to also post over here. I do not post on ihub because of the dishonesty that seems to be somewhat common to the site. Instead, I post here even if I'm the only one for the day. Hats off to the Admin at Investor's Hangout for running a quality board.

Well I don't know what the news tomorrow will be. But I do remember that Bill specifically stated the money for the buy back would come from the cash used for the acquisition, which would be conventional financing and stock.

If the buy back is here, I believe that means the acquisition is near and I think there may be a sort of genius in the timing of these announcements.

If I were the TPAC CEO, my biggest fear would be announcing the acquisition then watching certain people run the price up, short the stock at say .003, then dump their millions of shares at large profits to drive the price down and cover their shorts (at large profits again). So based on the last few days my guess is this.

TPAC got financing (and the cash) and started the buyback program to get the PPS out of trips and have now issued a the PR for the buyback program. TPAC has now retired 500 million shares, which will keep them from being "borrowed" for shorting.

Now when they announce the acquisition and the price goes up, they can protect themselves from manipulation by shorts, because they can use the buy back program to purchase the dumped shares of shorters. This has to dual effect of propping up the share price so shorting won't be profitable and allowing them to make more shares restricted so it's harder to borrow shares and short them. At the end of the day this stock will go from a float of 2.6 billion to around 900 million without an R/S. That is really increasing the value of my shares while making manipulation more difficult.

I guess my message to these entities is that the game is about up for you on TPAC, so you should be happy to take the profits from the millions of shares you still own, like the rest of us. But if you try to short the stock and manipulate the price back down, my opinion is that you will regret it.

We will all see what the future holds over the next few weeks.
