Vista Partners has initiated coverage on Quantum Materials Corp. (OTCBB: QTMM) (“The Company,” or “QMC”) with a twelve-month price target of $0.45. Ross Silver, Principal Analyst at Vista Partners, stated, “According to markets and markets.com, the quantum dot market is estimated to reach $4,704.86 million by 2020, at a CAGR of 63.61% from 2014 to 2020. Touch Display Research forecasts the quantum dot display and lighting component market will surpass $2 billion by 2016 and reach $10.6 billion by 2025.” Mr. Silver goes on to state, “In the past year, QMC has entered into an increased number of non-disclosure agreements (“NDAs”) and sample supply agreements (“Sample Agreements”) with product manufacturers in different industries as well as universities and independent research laboratories. In addition, the Company has entered a funded product development agreement with leading global optical film manufacturer Nitto Denko.”
