I'm not certain if their hours are being cut back or reduced for the time being, but doing so does make a lot of sense to save money as the company and every one of us didn't anticipate the delay that the FAA has caused.
However, when proving flight starts, everyone has to be on board. Proving flights is a all hand operation to show FAA that an airline is capable of running as an airline should be running as. This means, ground crew, pilots, flight attendants, operation center and so on.
I recall LT saying that Igor is watching every dime that comes in and goes out to make sure the company is still alive.
I think we're in good hands. Just frustrated to see the PPS go down like this.
