Picon, I called TD Ameritrade and they are unable to advise because the spin-off doesn't show up in their system, meaning it's still unofficial.
Until the ex-dividend date is announced, there's no way to tell how it's gonna work, and whether buying FITX right now would give you CNRX as well or not.
Unless you know something more, your assumption is as good as mine.
SEC says, the ex-dividend date for share-based dividend should be the next day after distribution. Can you provide any contradicting info?
