Experienced Porphyry Copper-Gold Geologist Aquiles Alegria joins AURYN Mining Chile SpA

Aquiles Alegria is a Geologist with 27 years of experience in exploration, evaluation and production of mineral deposits; he has been working for international mining companies in South America, Asia, Europe and Australia. He has proven capacity to head multidisciplinary teams, to develop individual work of detailed geology. The last 17 years he has dedicated his time to head teams of advanced exploration and development of mining projects; during this period he has carried projects from advanced exploration to feasibility. Between 2002 and 2004 Aquiles has headed the local group of exploration in CODELCO North Division in Chile. He had an important participation in the generation of the Exploratory Programs and Business Plans of that Division.
During the year 2005 he participated in Codelco Mining Resources team in topics related to exploration and delineation of new resources for CODELCO Divisional districts.
In 2006 he held the position of Superintendent of Geology for Andina CODELCO Division.
Between 2006 and 2008 Aquiles was in charge of all technical activities at Andina Minerals, as Exploration Vice President. From 2008 to 2011 he was involved in all mining exploration business of Inversiones Benjamin Holding. During that period 3 porphyry copper gold deposits were discovered.
Currently advises mining exploration companies in South America and participates as a Board Member of three mining companies.
