I thought it was a great idea because it forces new users to register with the gift card, and the majority of new Ultraflix customers will come back for more and spend their own money. The problem is the Gift cards are missing in action!!! Oh yeah Al Stone also promised better transparency as well!!! Never happened, in fact it could be argued that transparency got worse!

What keeps me in this is the content that was added, and they are finally coming through with getting the App on multiple platforms! It keeps the hope alive.
