"I seem to be getting a lot of questions about dropping as a mod on ctix and thought I'd give an answer here. I used to be a mod for up to 50 different boards and I've been gradually dropping all stock specific boards. ctix is my largest holding and that made it both the one I posted on most and the last mod position to drop. My dropping the mod position has zero to do with anything but my lack of desire to read all the posts anymore. It's a time issue.
There are other things in the real world that are taking more of my time now that I'm feeling better. It was easy to sit at the computer regularly while dealing with various medical challenges that kept me home a lot over the past few years. Thankfully, I'm better now and getting out regularly again.
I've even started up my bike riding again.
The self removal from my stock specific mod positions are simply due to life style changes along with my interests being elsewhere. Nothing more.
Plus, I'm toying with starting up my writing again in January. That's another time consumer if I were to do so regularly.
The bottom line is I'm tired of hanging out in front of the computer as much as in the past."
