NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - December 03, 2015) - Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Bakers AS, Norway's largest bakery group and a subsidiary of Norway's largest retail chain, NorgesGruppen ASA, has gone live on Infor M3 ERP. Delivered on time and on budget, Infor M3, alongside Infor Warehouse Mobility, is set to increase purchasing control, help reduce waste by cutting over-production; and help improve both productivity and the quality of financial data for analysis.
Following a thorough review of the market, with support from NorgesGruppen Data AS, Bakers chose Infor M3 on the basis of the industry specific functionality it offered, the established track record of Infor within the baking industry and the low total cost of ownership.
The hosted application has been implemented in two phases, covering first the core operational modules, followed by additional functionality. Extensive testing was carried out prior to going live and over 350 users are set to interact with the application across 12 sites.
