It does make one suspicious seeing the huge pressure on CTIX, that a big pharma is working in concert with a hedge fund or funds to try to keep stock price depressed. The constant advocating for reverse split and for grabbing whatever lowball deal is out there by the paid bashers on the other board makes me think that the big pharma scenario is true. Either that or someone is trying to assemble a huge position at lowball prices.
I see that Adam Feuerstein has decided to attack AVXL now. Again, it appears to be the same thing -- AVXL has had all this great news -- has the only drug that seems to improve cognition for Alzheimer's patients -- so it's getting attacked. In the meantime AXON, with its garbage drug bought for 5 million from the shelves of a big pharma after the drug failed its Phase 2 trial, has a market cap 5 times greater than AVXL and CTIX combined. Why? Because it is run by Wall Street insiders who are keeping AXON's price propped up until after the lock-up period expires in a few weeks so they can sell their shares.
Sickening how investors have been convinced of such bogus things as "efficient markets theory" and suckered into believing people like Cramer and Feuerstein.
Not selling a single share of either stock now, and holding my AXON puts.
