It's worse than you think. He does not work alone. They probably have a lot of bids already in place. Initially they will buy a lot of the 7's and 8's and immediately start stacking the ask.
Once they sell, then the real bash will start.
The bid sitting preacher will appear and as the bid grows, they will dump into it and probably call it dilution.
