The obsession with audited financials is misplaced. The value is in the requirement to file yearly reports for the purpose of financial organizations to be able to invest in the company. As far as an investor goes although it adds credibility to the company reports the investor should not be invested in a company they do not respect their honesty. All an investor has to do is follow the growth progression of the company to justify their investment.
