Threeflight let me say this, if you are truly concerned NTEK is losing their profit margins by users taking advantage of the promo deals let me explain things in a different way.
Lets say 100,000 users sign up for the various promos
(1) NTEK gets the immediate cash infusion from the 100,000 users 5-10M pending breakout of the promo combos used.
(2) THIS STILL LEAVES ANOTHER estimated 900,000 subs who will be paying FULL PRICE $4.99 PER RENTAL in year 2016
Also by year 2017 those who got the promo deals may have exhausted their freebies and WILL BE HOOKED ON UF for 2017 and beyond
(3) Users will also be paying full price for upcoming live events and sports at full price
(4) Perfect strategy by NTEK using promos to build customer base, spread awareness of UF but most importantly stop the dilution with the immediate cash infusion. Brilliant!
Sounds as if you are ticked off with all the ongoing dilution but when the company does something that can stop it in its tracks you question their strategy.
