LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 24, 2015) - Imperial Capital Group, LLC ("Imperial Capital") announced that Mark Jicka has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Senior Credit Trader. Based in Imperial's New York office, Mr. Jicka's primary responsibility is driving the franchise's investment grade trading initiatives. Mr. Jicka will report to John C. Greco, Managing Director and Head of High Grade/Hybrid Sales and Trading. Mr. Jicka joins Imperial with approximately 23 years of securities industry experience specializing in investment grade credit trading.

Mr. Jicka most recently served as Managing Director, Head of Fixed Income Trading at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Previously, he spent over 21 years in sell side corporate bond trading roles, having traded and managed businesses, including senior roles at Barclays, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Jicka earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Mr. Jicka served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot for eight years.
