I drove down to the construction site on Friday and I am still scratching my head as to how someone that claims to live next door could say nothing is happing.
I am also trying to figure out if that person lives in the tin barn type structure or the structure that has blown over.
Anyway, I arrived early enough so that there were still people working so I was able to talk with some of them to get a feel for what is going on. There are two different crews working. One crew on a perimeter fence and one crew on the foundation.
The fence speaks for itself since a 6ft chain link is required by the state for all grows (legal ones at least)
The guys operating the heavy machinery working on the foundation were working on a front end loader and a compactor so they were not available to talk. I did speak with one of the other guys about it and apparently because of soil conditions they had to excavate about 7 ft of soil and bring in 1200 tons of select fill to replace the soil with and compact the whole area in order to pour the slabs.
Here are some of the pictures I took of their work in progress. I was told the concrete work should start the first week of December.
Great pictures of the progress..Thank you keep them coming
