AVXL gave us a graphic lesson in how uplisting is NOT the panacea to prevent shorting. (up to 14, down to under 4, both levels "achieved" after the uplist).
I think they are still shaking the tree for cheap shares, but only a fool would stay short into the shareholders' meeting -- knowing that we are due for some kind of data from at least one of the trials before then. Look at the huge volume on the trades this morning, and than that 20k share trade in the early afternoon.
Speaking of AVXL, they got a huge surge when they released preliminary results from the first 12 patients of their study. Perhaps CTIX will release preliminary data from the first 50 patients in the Prurisol study?
