SAN DIEGO, Calif., Nov. 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: KTOS ), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) Division is a key member of a team that recently received a contract award with a total potential value of $44 million for weapon systems upgrade and sustainment. The contract period of performance under the single award contract is for approximately two years. The $44 million potential value under this contract award has increased in value from the previous contract award where Kratos performed a significant role as key subcontractor. Kratos has unique qualifications and capabilities related to these weapon systems and has performed this work since 2005.
