Some guys on this board were talking about the 2016 super bowl, which never dawned on me until yesterday. If NTEK already has 4K cameras set up there in Levi's stadium and they do anything there, then we're going to get exposure out the wazoo come February 7, 2016.
Here's some shoddy copy+paste work:
SUPER BOWL 50:
In a departure from the NFL tradition of using Roman numerals, this game will be marketed in Arabic numerals as "Super Bowl 50" instead of Super Bowl L (the Roman numeral for 50). The game is scheduled to be played on February 7, 2016 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the home stadium of the San Francisco 49ers.[4] This will be the first Super Bowl held in the San Francisco Bay Area since Super Bowl XIX in January 1985.
CBS holds the broadcast rights to the game.
In Canada, CTV continues to hold rights to the Super Bowl under a long-term contract. If a CRTC proposal announced on January 29, 2015 is approved, it will be the last Super Bowl to be subject to simultaneous substitution in Canada, a practice that blacks out all U.S. advertisements on cable and satellite broadcasts of the game. CTV parent company Bell Media opposes the proposal and has filed objections to the plan.
