That said, getting a SS in order isn't always a bad thing. Look at one of my favorites which has risen over 20 months from .02 to the 1.50s, and it's been into the 2.00s a couple of months back. That stock could never had accomplished it without a well thought out strategy of getting their SS under control. But it can only occur after all the ducks are in a row.
